Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you email us or send our contact form, we collect your name and email address and, if you provide them, your phone number, the service you ask about, your notes, and your text-message consent choices. With each form submission we also record the time, the page, and your IP address, as our record of your consent.
• Automatically. When you visit this site, we and our providers may set cookies and use similar technologies. We also use the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement (see Advertising cookies below). Our hosting provider may log standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure.

How we use your information

• Respond to your request and provide the estimates, scheduling, and services you ask about.
• Contact you by email, phone, or, if you opt in, text message about your request and our services.

Advertising cookies (Meta Pixel)

We use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, Inc. (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), on this site. The pixel and similar technologies from Meta may collect or receive information from this website and elsewhere on the internet, including pages you view, your device and browser type, and your IP address. Meta uses this information to measure how our ads perform and to help us show our ads to people on Meta platforms and partner sites. This is separate from anything you send us by form or email, and it does not include your text-messaging opt-in data.

You can control or opt out of this kind of ad targeting:

• Adjust your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.
• Opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info and the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org.

Opting out stops interest-based targeting. You may still see ads that are not based on this activity.

SMS / text messaging

Our contact form has two separate, optional text-message boxes. If you tick the first, we may send messages about your request: call scheduling, onboarding updates, follow-ups, and replies. If you tick the second, we may also send marketing messages such as offers and product news. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP or emailing us at sales@carbideanddirt.ai.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Sharing information with subcontractors who support our services, such as customer service, is permitted. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the above: this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding the aggregators and providers that deliver the text-messaging service and the providers that deliver our email (Resend and Google Workspace), which carry our record of your consent.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with service providers who help us operate (Resend, which delivers contact form submissions to our inbox; Google Workspace, our email provider; Twilio, which delivers our text messages; and our hosting provider) and only as needed to provide our services or as required by law. We also share limited website activity with Meta through the Meta Pixel to measure and deliver our advertising, as described under Advertising cookies above. As stated above, mobile opt-in and consent data are never shared for marketing or promotional purposes, and are disclosed only to the aggregators and providers that deliver the text-messaging service and the email providers named above.

Your choices

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You can opt out of interest-based advertising using the options under Advertising cookies above. You can ask us to update or delete the contact information you've given us by reaching out using the details below.

Data retention & security

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal and recordkeeping obligations, and we take reasonable measures to protect it.

Children's privacy

Our site and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13.
